This Privacy Policy describes how PoundCake (“we,” “us”), operating the PoundCake brand at poundpoundcake.com, collects, uses, and shares information. Contact: hello@poundpoundcake.com.

1. Adult audience

The Site is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn a user is a minor, we will terminate access and may delete associated data. Do not share Site content or files with minors.

2. Information we collect

• Age-gate affirmation. A yes/no stored in your browser sessionStorage (key ppc_age_ok) so we do not re-prompt every page in the same tab session. This is not an account. It is not sent to our server on this static v1 site.
• Communications. Email, Discord handle, and the content of briefs, claims, or support messages you send to hello@poundpoundcake.com, #oven-customs, or a claim form (including mailto drafts).
• Orders. Quote amount, tier, brief, delivery email, order ID, fulfillment status.
• Crypto customs payments. Public receive address used, asset, network, amount, txid, confirmation count. Blockchains are public. We do not collect seed phrases, private keys, or recovery phrases — and we will never ask for them.
• Card payments (non-customs, if used). Processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on this Site.
• Wheel / sweepstakes claims. Name or preferred handle, age affirmation, email, optional Discord, country/region, result code, prize, checkbox assent. Client-side spin limits may use localStorage.
• Technical logs (if hosting provides them). IP address, user-agent, timestamps, pages requested. Bluehost or a future host may log these automatically.
• Assent evidence (if/when checkout is instrumented). IP, timestamp, user-agent, order ID, txid, checkbox state — as described in the Terms.

3. How we use information

• Operate the Site, age-gate adult access, and fulfill customs, digital goods, and virtual dates
• Verify on-chain payment and mark orders paid / locked
• Administer the Date Wheel (eligibility, claim review, prize delivery) — no automated calendar booking in v1
• Communicate about orders, claims, and (if you ask) Site updates
• Security, fraud prevention, chargeback defense on residual card charges, and legal compliance (including 18 U.S.C. §2257 record-keeping where applicable)

4. When we share

We do not sell your personal information. We may share with:

• Processors we need to run the business (email, hosting, Discord as a platform you already use, Stripe for merch, optional future crypto invoice tools)
• Public blockchains (inherently public) when you pay in crypto
• Counsel, accountants, or authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity (including fraud reports related to abusive chargebacks)

Winner publicity (first name, city/state, handle, prize) is described in Official Rules and is not enabled as a live practice until counsel confirm opt-in vs deemed consent.

5. Cookies and local storage

This static v1 site does not set tracking cookies. It uses:

• sessionStorage.ppc_age_ok — age-gate pass for the tab session
• localStorage.ppc_wheel_last_spin — one free play per browser per day (abuse control, not advertising)
• sessionStorage.ppc_wheel_last_result — last wheel result / claim code in this tab

Clearing site data resets the age gate and wheel limits. Third-party fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; Google may process your IP as described in Google’s policies.

6. Retention

Order, payment (txid), and §2257-related records are kept as long as needed to fulfill, tax, and comply with law — exact periods TBD by counsel. Claim emails and Discord briefs are kept for fulfillment and dispute records. Age-gate session data lives only in your browser until the tab/session ends.

7. Your choices

Email hello@poundpoundcake.com to update a delivery address, ask what we have about an order, or request deletion where we are not required to keep records (orders, tax, and legal holds may limit deletion). You may decline the age gate and leave the Site. You may use the mail-in AMOE for the wheel instead of the on-site form.

8. Security

No method of transmission is 100% secure. Use official addresses published on /customs for that order. Never send seeds or private keys. Download delivery links promptly and store adult files securely, away from minors.

9. International visitors

The operator is associated with America/Chicago. Placeholder governing law: Illinois, USA. If you access the Site from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative; do not use the Site where adult content is illegal for you. Cross-border transfer language TBD by counsel (including GDPR/CCPA addenda if required).

10. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We may post an updated Privacy Policy on this page. Material changes will carry a new “last updated” date once this draft is approved.
